Compliance Roll-up & Business Objects

gocompliance works with multiple regulations, business objects and a compliance roll-up mechanism

How does the compliance roll-up work?

Suppliers assemble multiple objects which are made up of various parts. All these parts contain different quantities of metals, non-metals, and chemicals which may or may not be prohibited beyond a certain threshold. Before they go through production, parts and manufacturer parts have to comply with regulations depending on the country they are being produced and assembled in as well as the countries they are likely to be exported to.

If all substances in a material are compliant, the material is compliant. Next, all compliant materials form a compliant subpart, and finally, all compliant subparts produce a compliant part. Therefore, any effect on any level affects the compliance status of the higher level.
